About

As Principal of the London Screen Academy, I lead a specialist sixth form for students who want to make, create and tell stories. My work focuses on building an ambitious, inclusive environment where young people can thrive and where education connects meaningfully to the real world.

I'm especially interested in leadership that is thoughtful, clear and grounded in strong relationships, and in building organisations where high standards and strong values go hand in hand.

I've spent much of my career helping to build schools that try to do something purposeful and distinctive: combine creativity with rigour, open doors for young people, and connect education more closely to the world students will step into next.

As someone who did not get on well at school myself, I feel strongly about creating spaces where young people can develop their talents, grow in confidence and find a sense of direction in their lives.

Before moving into school leadership, I worked in television and film production. That experience still shapes how I think: education should be ambitious, collaborative, outward-facing and built around real work that matters.
